    La relevancia del dominio afectivo en todo aquello que concierne a la enseñanza y al aprendizaje de las matemáticas lleva más de medio siglo recibiendo atención por parte de la comunidad científica internacional en el ámbito de la Educación Matemática. En este sentido, no han permanecido ajenas sociedades como la SEIEM y la SOMIDEM, las cuales no solo han reconocido la importancia de esta línea de trabajo e investigación, sino que también han prestado espacios y apoyos para su desarrollo. En este capítulo se describe brevemente la situación actual en ambas sociedades de la investigación en el ámbito del dominio afectivo desde la perspectiva de su integración explícita en grupos de trabajo, describiendo las principales aportaciones, teorías y líneas de investigación abiertas de estos, proyectando algunas de las líneas futuras hacia las que están dirigiendo sus esfuerzos y, sobre todo, identificando oportunidades para el trabajo conjunto.

    The relevance of the affective domain in everything that concerns the teaching and learning of mathematics has been receiving attention from the international scientific community in the field of Mathematics Education for more than half a century. In this sense, societies such as the SEIEM and SOMIDEM have not been unaware of the importance of this line of work and research but have also provided space and support for its development. This chapter briefly describes the current situation in both societies of research in the affective domain from the perspective of their explicit integration in working groups, describing their main contributions, theories and open lines of research, showing some of the future lines towards which they are directing their efforts and, above all, identifying opportunities for joint work.
