  • Resumen
    • In this paper we describe TANGOW, Task-based Adaptive learNer Guidance On the Web, a system for Web-based adaptive learning. Courses developed with TANGOW are adapted to students by taking into account their own features (such as age, language, etc.) along with the actions performed by them during the learning process. There exists a structure per student where the path followed by this student while interacting with the system is stored. This path is restored at the beginning of each session. The courses managed by the system are described in terms of Teaching Tasks and Rules. Teaching Tasks correspond to the conceptual basic units defined by the course designer, while Rules specify the relation among Teaching Tasks. The examples used to illustrate the system features are part of a course about traffic signs.
