En este trabajo, presentamos el análisis de un cuestionario basado en una escala Likert mediante el cual tratamos de determinar las actitudes hacia el uso de un software de ordenador para el aprendizaje de las Matemáticas, de un grupo de estudiantes que cursan del Primer Semestre de los Estudios Generales y Básicos de las Carreras de Ingeniería. Analizamos también la influencia que puede tener en sus actitudes el haber sido instruidos previamente con el Computer Algebra System (CAS) DERIVE. De los resultados obtenidos se puede concluir que el conocimiento de un CAS influye favorablemente en las actitudes de los estudiantes. También se observa cómo los estudiantes que conocen un software específico muestran una actitud altamente positiva hacia su uso para aprender Matemáticas.

In this work, we present the analysis of a questionnaire based on a Likert scale by means of which we try to establish the attitudes toward the use of a computer software for the learning of Mathematics, in a group of students that study the First Semester of the General and Basic Studies of the Career of Engineering. We also analyze the influence the fact of having been instructed previously with the Computer Algebra System (CAS) DERIVE can have in their attitudes. From the obtained results, it can be conclude that the knowledge of a CAS influences highly in the attitudes of the students. It is also observed as the students that know a specific software show a highly positive attitude toward their use to learn Mathematics.
