  Este trabajo presenta un estudio sobre la medición del conocimiento matemático inicial de losfuturos maestros de Educación Primaria que han ingresado en el grado de maestro. Se ha utilizadoun cuestionario que contiene dos tipos de ítems, respuesta abierta y respuesta cerrada. Hanparticipado 125 estudiantes de la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (Barcelona) y 158 de laPontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (Santiago de Chile). A partir de un estudio cuantitativomediante análisis factoriales, se ha observado que este conocimiento se estructura de formaunidimensional, y se ha validado un conjunto de items para su medición estandarizada.

  In this work, we present a study on the measurement of the initial mathematical knowledge of thefuture teachers who have entered a degree on Primary Teaching Education. A questionnairecontaining two types of items, open answer and closed answer, was used, and 125 students from theAutonomous University of Barcelona (Barcelona) and 158 from the Pontifical Catholic Universityof Chile (Santiago de Chile) participated. From a quantitative study using factor analysis, it hasbeen observed that this knowledge is structured in a one-dimensional way, and a set of items hasbeen validated for its standardized measurement.
