Resumen de Aplicación de un sistema categorial de habilidades cognitivas al estudio de las ecuaciones

  Este artículo recoge parte de una investigación realizada al estudiar aspectos cognitivos del pensamiento algebraico, en concreto la aplicación de un sistema categorial, que permitió el análisis de contenidos desarrollados en el aula y valorar la comprensión de los alumnos en relación con la adquisición del lenguaje algebraico. En la investigación estudiamos los aspectos cognitivos del pensamiento algebraico en términos de habilidades operacionales y conceptuales en los procesos de adquisición y uso del lenguaje algebraico y del uso y comprensión de los sistemas de representación utilizados, concretamente en el marco de una situación de enseñanza. En este trabajo se presenta de manera particular el análisis de la aplicación de las mismas al tópico de las ecuaciones y se indican algunos resultados obtenidos en la investigación general de ecuaciones “explorando” en el nivel de 12 a 14 años, mediante el uso de un pretest-postest en una muestra de 31 alumnos.

  This paper picks up part of an investigation carried out when studying cognitive aspects of the algebraic thought, in short, the application of a categorial system that allowed the analysis of contents developed in the classroom and to value the understanding of the students related to the acquisition of the algebraic language. In the investigation we study the cognitive aspects of the algebraic thought in terms of operational and conceptual abilities in the processes of acquisition and use of the algebraic language and of the use and understanding of the representation systems used concretely in the frame of a teaching situation. In this work it is presented in a particular way the analysis of the application from the same ones to the topic of the equations and some results are indicated obtained in the general investigation of equations exploring in the level from 12 to 4 years, by means of the use of a pretest-postest in a sample of 31 students.
