  • Resumen
    • Till now simulation systems were the most common Computer AidedLearning systems. Although they are very powerful tools, using simulationstudents cannot experiment with real devices. M.A.C. system (from Spanish"Módulo de Análisis de Circuitos") allows students to learn electronics using afriendly interface, hypermedia resources and practical experiences using realcircuits connected to the computer by means of an analog to digital convertercard. The M.A.C. system requires a computer, an analog to digital convertercard connected to the PC, a general interface module containing the powersupplies and the experimentation cards. The system is available in twodifferent versions: English and Spanish. The English version contains a basiccourse on Operational Amplifiers and the Spanish one, contains some otherlessons on basic Electronics such as diodes, transistors and digital electronics(they will be translated into English in the near future). The English versionneeds 32 Mbytes of free hard disk (130 Mbytes remain on the CD) and theSpanish one 40 Mbytes (400 Mbytes remain on the CD). The possibility thatM.A.C. offers to experiment with the circuits, while the student learns thetheory or solves an exercise, improves her/his knowledge and allows fasterlearning. At the same time, the student participates in the experiments, changing the components and then the circuit’s behaviour.
