Distance learning is characterized by the systematic use of technical means and resources. Learning in this kind of teaching is conditioned by isolated study and a variety of information needs. In order to exploit the Internet to satisfy some of these needs, this work presents the main aspects of a higher education distance-learning operating model in this medium supported by the use of a Web interactive system that aims to match different user/student requirements (information, contact, administration).
