    La propuesta presentada se centró en usar narrativas en la enseñanza de matemáticas para bachillerato, con el objetivo de orientar a los estudiantes en la elección de estudios universitarios. La metodología integró historias y ejemplos contextualizados para facilitar la comprensión de conceptos matemáticos y conectarlos con situaciones reales y profesionales. Con la participación de 12 estudiantes de bachillerato, 8 padres y 4 profesionales en activo, el programa incluyó actividades basadas en escenarios de la vida real en campos como ingeniería, ciencias y economía, para mostrar la aplicabilidad de las matemáticas en diversas profesiones. La motivación detrás de este enfoque proviene de la necesidad de orientar a estudiantes indecisos sobre su futuro académico, abordando la desconexión entre el aprendizaje matemático y su aplicación práctica. Investigaciones previas indican que la contextualización de las matemáticas mejora el interés y la motivación de los estudiantes, además de ayudarles a visualizar posibles carreras. El programa buscó no solo enriquecer el aprendizaje matemático, sino también inspirar a los estudiantes a considerar carreras relacionadas con las matemáticas, fomentando así una elección de estudios universitarios más informada y motivada.

    The proposed program focused on using narratives in teaching mathematics for high school students, with the aim of guiding them in choosing university studies. The methodology integrated stories and contextualized examples to facilitate the understanding of mathematical concepts and connect them with real-life and professional situations. With the participation of 12 high school students, 8 parents, and 4 active professionals, the program included activities based on real-life scenarios in fields such as engineering, science, and economics, to demonstrate the applicability of mathematics in various professions. The motivation behind this approach stems from the need to guide undecided students about their academic future, addressing the disconnect between mathematical learning and its practical application. Previous research indicates that contextualization of mathematics improves student interest and motivation, as well as helping them visualize potential careers. The program aimed not only to enrich mathematical learning but also to inspire students to consider careers related to mathematics, thus fostering a more informed and motivated choice of university studies.
