Repercusión del espacio web_pou sobre el desarrollo del Plan de Orientación Universitaria en la Facultad de Veterinaria (unizar)

    La necesidad de tener un punto de encuentro para todos los actores implicados en el Plan de Orientación Universitaria (POU) en los Grados en Veterinaria (VET) y Ciencia y Tecnología de los Alimentos (CTA), en la Facultad de Veterinaria (Universidad de Zaragoza), nos llevó a crear en el curso 2016-2017 un espacio web específico para el POU. (https:// veterinaria.unizar.es/estudiantes/tutorizacion-estudiantes). El objetivo del trabajo es evaluar la repercusión que ha tenido la creación del espacio web POU sobre el desarrollo de este plan de orientación en nuestro Centro. Para ello se ha contado con la opinión de tutores, mentores y estudiantes, a través de una encuesta online. Se han recibido un total de 103 cuestionarios. Sobre los 93 contestados, 13 eran de tutores (87%), 8 de mentores (100%) y 61 de estudiantes (7%). Los tres grupos consideran que la web POU es intuitiva, de fácil acceso y que ayuda a identificar y comprender los objetivos del POU. Sin embargo, sólo el 41% de los mentores y el 61% de los estudiantes, cree que estimula la participación de los alumnos en el POU, frente al 80% de los tutores. Los tutores destacan el uso de la guía y materiales específicos para ellos, los mentores el calendario y listados de grupos y los estudiantes la información sobre el binomio tutor-mentor. El 100% de los tutores y el 83% de los mentores consideran que la información recogida en la web les ha facilitado el desarrollo de su tarea en el POU y al 85% de los estudiantes les han resultado de utilidad los contenidos. Podemos concluir diciendo que el espacio web POU de la facultad de Veterinaria incluye contenidos de utilidad para los estudiantes y la información demandada por los tutores y mentores, facilitándoles el desarrollo de su tarea en el POU.

    The need to have a meeting point for all the actors involved in the University Orientation Plan (POU) in the Degrees of Veterinary Medicine (VET) and Food Science and Technology (CTA), in the Veterinary Faculty (University of Zaragoza), led us to create a specific web site for the POU in the 2016-2017 academic year. (https://veterinaria.unizar. es/estudiantes/tutorizacion-estudiantes).The objective is to evaluate the impact that the creation of the POU site has had on the development of this orientation plan in our Center. To this end, we have counted on the opinion of tutors, mentors and students. A total of 103 questionnaires have been received. On the 93 answered questionnaires, 13 were tutors (87%), 8 mentors (100%) and 61 students (7%). The three groups consider that the POU web is intuitive, easily accessible and that it helps to identify and understand the objectives of the POU. However, only 41% of the mentors and 61% of the students believe that the web encourages the participation of students in the POU, compared to 80% of the tutors. The tutors highlight the use of the guide and specific materials for them, the mentors the calendar and the academic group lists and the students, the specific information on the tutor-mentor binomial. 100% of the tutors and 83% of the mentors consider that the information collected on the web has facilitated the development of their task in the POU and 85% of the students have found the contents useful. We can conclude that the POU web space of the Veterinary faculty include useful contents for the students and the information demanded by the tutors and mentors, facilitating the development of their task in the POU.
