  Les demandes actuals de coneixement matemàtic i de l’ús que se n’ha de fer obren la necessitat de connectar realitat i matemàtiques, per saber com aplicar-les per resoldre o analitzar situacions i per trobar exemples que puguin il·lustrar idees matemàtiques. Tanmateix, saber mirar la realitat amb ulls matemàtics necessita entrenament i motivació.

  En l’article es descriu l’ús de la fotografia amb tal finalitat, posant alguns exemples d’activitats per a la classe d’educació primària. Alhora, es donen indicacions per promoure el raonament i la comprensió dels conceptes i les relacions presents en les imatges.

  The current demands on mathematical knowledge and its use, open the need of connectin reality and mathematics, to know how to apply them to solve or analize situations and find examples which may illustrate mathematical idees. But to know how to percive reality with mathematical eyes needs training and motivation.

  In this paper we describe the use of photography for such purposes, giving some examples of activities for the classroom of Elementary Education. At the same time we give indications on how to promote reasoning and the understanding of concepts and relations which are present in the pictures.
