Resumen de Problemas matemáticos en el caso de un currículo: Análisis con base en el contexto y en la contextualización

  El objetivode este estudioes analizar el contexto y la contextualización de problemas presentes en el caso del currículo de Costa Ricadesarrollado en la reforma de2012. La metodología es mixta, con un análisiscualitativo decontenidoyun posterior recuento cuantitativo.Elsistema de categoríasseelaboraa partirde la revisión bibliográfica,considerando tipos de contextoy tipos de contextualización. El 59,5% del total de141 problemas tienen contexto científico/matemático, muy pocos de los cuales se ajustan a unacontextualización activa. Asimismo, loscontextos rurales e indígenasestán ausentes. De ahí que concluyamos sobre la existencia de desajustes entrelos fundamentosteóricos del caso de currículo de matemáticas y losejemplos que se plantean. Acabamos proponiendola discusión de nuestrascategorías como indicadores paraconstruirproblemas matemáticos con contextualización activay significativa.

  The objectiveof this studyis to analyze the context and contextualization of problems from thecaseof the Costa Ricancurriculumdeveloped in the 2012 reform.The mixed methodology consists of a qualitative content analysis and a subsequent quantitative recount. Asystem of categoriesis builtfrom a literaturereview leading tothe study of types of contextand types of contextualization. The 59.5% out ofthetotal of141 problems has ascientific/mathematics context, with contextualizationof the active type in only a few of them. Moreover,contexts of therural and indigenous typesare absent. We conclude therefore that some disconnections existbetween the theoretical curricular basis and the problems exemplified. Finally, we propose the further discussion of ourcategories as indicators for thedesignof mathematical problems with contextualization of the active and significant types.
