  Utilizando equipos móviles de medida de la contaminación, el alumnado investiga la calidad del aire de su entorno más inmediato, aprende a manejar volúmenes elevados de datos y a establecer relaciones causaefecto, al tiempo que adquiere conciencia de la importancia de la modelización. El trabajo se inserta dentro del marco metodológico del aprendizaje-servicio y favorece la consecución de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible impulsados por Naciones Unidas. Con la implementación de la propuesta se observa un incremento de la capacidad crítica del alumnado y de su participación activa y solidaria en la mejora de las condiciones de vida de su comunidad.

  Using portable pollution measuring equipment, students investigate the air quality of their surrounding area, learn to handle with a large volume of data and establish cause-effect relationships, while becoming aware of the importance of modelling. The work is set within the service-learning methodological framework and favours the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals promoted by the United Nations. With the implementation of the proposal, an increase in the critical thinking skills of students and their active participation in improving the living conditions of their community is observed.
