A forward approach for solving linear Diophantine equation

  • A simple forward approach for solving linear Diophantine equations is presented, which does not involve using backward substitutions.

    It is suitable for teaching undergraduate students as an alternative to the backward substitution method commonly described in mathematics textbooks.
