Resumen de O estudo da temática piracema na perspectiva da teoria da objetivação

  This article presents the results of an investigation that sought to analyze an activity carried out by a science teacher, in the perspective of the Theory of Objectivation (TO). The research was developed with the intent of investigate if the proposed activity could lead the students to express themselves on the environmental themes related to the biological phenomenon of piracema (fish’s upriver migration to spawn) using culinary recipes that are considered cultural artifacts.TO is a theory of teaching and learning that goes beyond the technical field of content and emphasizes the importance of student subjectivity, because being and knowing are interdependent and both should be worked on to stimulate ethical and reflective thinking among students. The research was characterized as qualitative, of the exploratory type, and was developed with students of the 7th year of elementary school in a public school in the Corumbá city, State of MS. The analyses of the interactions have evidenced that the students have expressed themselves critically on the theme piracema and revealed changes in the way the saw the phenomenon and how they started to think ethically about the subject.

  Este artigo apresenta os resultados de uma investigação em que se buscou analisar uma atividade realizada por uma professora de ciências, na perspectiva da Teoria da Objetivação (TO). A pesquisa foi desenvolvida com o objetivo de estudar como essa atividade poderia levar os alunos a posicionarem-se sobre temáticas ambientais, neste caso, ligadas ao fenômeno biológico da piracema, a partir do uso de receitas culinárias, entendidas como artefatos culturais. A TO é uma teoria de ensino e aprendizagem que vai além do domínio técnico de um conteúdo, e destaca a importância da subjetividade do aluno, pois o ser e o conhecimento estão inter-relacionados e ambos devem ser trabalhados para aflorar nos alunos pensamentos éticos e reflexivos. A pesquisa foi caracterizada como qualitativa, do tipo exploratória, e foi desenvolvida com alunos do 7º ano do ensino fundamental de uma escola pública do município de Corumbá-MS. As análises das interações evidenciaram que os alunos se posicionaram criticamente em relação ao tema piracema, revelando mudanças no modo como eles viam o fenômeno e como passaram a refletir eticamente sobre o assunto.
