Resumen de Gamifying an Artificial Intelligence Course in Engineering Education

  • Students’ motivation and engagement are important factors for actual learning. By using game-thinking and gameelements in an education context we can attract learners’ attention, increase their motivation and engage them toparticipate more actively in their learning process. In this work we present a gamified experience to teach ArtificialIntelligence to computer science engineers. The inclusion of a competition and other game elements in the course hasproved to be funfor the students, theyattend more to class, they look for the continuousimprovement of their work, no onecopies and the level of assignments handed in is high.
