Resumen de Equação: noção matemática ou paramatemática?

  The aim of this paper is to investigate whether the notion of equation is conceived in the literature as a mathematic notion or as a paramathemathic notion, following to the ideas of Chevallard’s Didactic Transposition (1991). From the analyzed literature, it was verified that there is not an agreement among the chosen authors about the presentation of a "definition" for the notion of equation. It was also possible conclude that equation is considered as a paramathemathic notion. As a final reflection, the following question is raised: How can we approach equation and its different meanings in the teaching and learning of Mathematics?

  O presente trabalho tem por objetivo investigar se a noção de equação é concebida na literatura como uma noção matemática ou como uma noção paramatemática, segundo as idéias da Transposição Didática de Chevallard (1991). A partir da literatura analisada verificou-se que não há consenso entre os autores escolhidos quanto à apresentação ou não de “definição” para a noção de equação. Pode-se concluir ainda que equação é concebida como uma noção paramatemática. Como reflexão final é deixada a seguinte questão: Como abordar equação e seus diversos significados no processo de ensino e aprendizagem da Matemática?
