Resumen de Applications of Statistics in the Spanish business world

In recent years, the accumulation of large volumes of information has provided the necessary habitat for the development of numerous statistical applications because of the great development in the automation of the production processes within the business environment. The statistic supports the business development in key sectors of the Spanish economy, helping companies to develop new products and to implement successful business strategies.
This article describes some of these applications, analyzing some production process for developing statistical applications. Finally, an analysis about the future of this discipline within the Spanish business world is made.
