Perspectiva de los alumnos de Grado de Educación Primaria sobre las matemáticas y su enseñanza

  Se corrobora la importancia que el tipo de estudios previos realizados y el gusto hacia las matemáticas, tienen en la actitud de los estudiantes hacia la materia. La baja motivación que presenta casi la mitad del alumnado, hace que para satisfacer sus expectativas de aprendizaje, debamos situarnos en un contexto de practicidad, utilidad y aplicabilidad hacia su futuro trabajo como maestros, lo que lleva a analizar el currículo de forma práctica. Remarcan como aportaciones que esperan recibir del Grado el “enseñar a enseñar” y “el conocimiento y uso de recursos para impartir la clase”.

  The importance that the type of previous studies and the taste for mathematics have on the attitude towards this subject is confirmed with this research. The low motivation that almost half of the students have makes ourselves be situated in a context of practicality, usefulness and applicability to their future as teachers, so that we can fulfill our students’ learning expectations. Therefore we have to analyze the curriculum in a practical way. They expect two main contributions of the teaching degree: “teaching to teach” and “knowledge and use of resources to teach the class.”
