    • This paper presents techniques to evaluate accessibility and usability of mobile applications through a case study, because review and improvement ofthese properties increase the overall quality ofthe final sofiware. lt discusses the need of using automatic tools and applics the study te a real application. World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) recommendations and heuristics helped to conduct a rigorous evaluation that has involved several users. This work implies a complete accessibility/usability assessment, in order to improve the application, and shows the results obtained afier analyzing the detected error. Considering all the process, it can be concluded that, using the chosen method, it is possible that evaluaters with a little experience carry out a comprehensive assessment ofthe level of accessibility and usability of a mobile application in a short period of time, considering the existing recommendations, and revealing a huge quantity of faults without using automatic tools.
