Resumen de Modelagem matemática com tecnologias para o cálculo de área de uma região irregular: o caso do Rosário de Nova Fátima-PR

Partiendo de la premisa de que la geometría es un tema importante en la formación de los estudiantes, se comprende la necesidad de problematizar, discutir e investigar situaciones referentes a la realidad que tengan como objetivo promover conceptos geométricos. Con el objetivo de socializar un estudio sobre el Rosario de Nova Fátima – PR, este texto tiene como objetivo presentar la Modelación Matemática de una situación real en la que utilizamos el software GeoGebra para calcular el área de una región irregular. La investigación siguió los pasos de Modelación Matemática a la luz de Meyer (2020) y, finalmente, la validación se produjo con una visita al sitio para estimar el tamaño del área deseada. Reflexionamos, en esta experiencia, que el uso de tecnologías digitales, especialmente GeoGebra, intervino en la construcción de modelos que representaban matemáticamente la situación, permitiéndonos estimar el cálculo del área.

Starting from the premise that geometry is an important topic in the training of students, it is understood the need to problematize, discuss and investigate situations with reference to reality that aim to promote geometric concepts. Aiming to socialize a study on the Rosary of Nova Fátima – PR, this text aims to present the Mathematical Modeling of a real situation in which we use the GeoGebra software to calculate the area of an irregular region. The investigation followed the steps of Mathematical Modeling in light of Meyer (2020) and, finally, validation occurred with a visit to the site to estimate the size of the desired area. We reflected, in this experience, that the use of digital technologies, especially GeoGebra, was involved in the construction of models that mathematically represented the situation, allowing us to estimate the calculation of the area.

Partindo da premissa que a geometria é um tópico importante na formação dos estudantes, entende-se a necessidade de problematizar, discutir e investigar situações com referência na realidade que visem a promoção de conceitos geométricos. Visando socializar um estudo sobre o Rosário de Nova Fátima – PR, este texto tem por objetivo apresentar a Modelagem Matemática de uma situação da realidade em que utilizamos do software GeoGebra para o cálculo de área de uma região irregular. A investigação seguiu as etapas da Modelagem Matemática à luz de Meyer (2020) e, por fim, a validação ocorreu com visitação do local para estimar a medida da área desejada. Refletimos, nesta experiência, que o uso de tecnologias digitais, especialmente, o GeoGebra esteve imbricado na construção de modelos que representaram, matematicamente, a situação, permitindo-nos estimar o cálculo da área.
