Resolución de Problemas y promoción de las conexiones matemáticas

    Este artículo se basa en un episodio de aula, en el contexto de la formación inicial de profesores de Educación Básica, con el objetivo de promover la capacidad matemática transversal de Conexiones Matemáticas a través de la resolución de problemas. Tomando este tema como metodología de enseñanza-aprendizaje, el docente/investigador se propuso investigar qué conceptos matemáticos fueron identificados por los sujetos del estudio, futuros y futuras docentes, ante tareas que les permitieran promover, sobre todo, algunas conexiones matemáticas internas. Como metodología de recolección de datos se utilizó el focus group, siendo toda la clase su unidad de análisis. Como conclusiones, el docente/investigador pudo comprobar que los sujetos de estudio resolvieron las tareas matemáticas mediante intento y error y sin recurrir al contenido matemático inherente a estas tareas.

    This article is based on a classroom episode, in the context of the initial training of Basic Education teachers, aiming to promote the transversal mathematical ability of Mathematical Connections through problem solving. Taking this theme as a teachinglearning methodology, the teacher/researcher intended to investigate which mathematical concepts were identified by the study subjects, future teachers, when faced with tasks that allowed them to promote, above all, some internal mathematical connections. As a data collection methodology, it used a focus group, with the entire class being its unit of analysis. As conclusions, the teacher/researcher was able to verify that the study subjects solved the mathematical tasks through trial and error and without resorting to the mathematical content inherent to these tasks.
