Top (journal of operations research)

TOP is published by the Spanish Statistical and Operations Research Society (SEIO), a learned Society created in 1962 to contribute to the promotion and development of the theory, methodology and applications of statistics and operations research. Members may choose to receive TOP as part of their benefits.

TOP is a journal of operations research, in which the emphasis is placed on papers containing original theoretical and application-oriented contributions. A volume of about 400 pages will be published annually in two parts, issued in June and December. The journal is a transformation of Trabajos de Investigación Operativa, which, founded by Sixto Rios, was published between 1950 and 1992. The first editors were Jaume Barceló and Laureano F. Escudero (1993-2000). From December 2000, the editors are Ignacio García-Jurado and Marco A. López-Cerdá.
