, Humberto Martínez Barberá (ed. lit.)
, Pablo Bernal Polo (ed. lit.), Nieves Pavón Pulido (ed. lit.)This volume compiles the scientific contributions submitted and accepted for presentation at the XXV International Workshop on Physical Agents – WAF 2025, which was held on September 4th and 5th in the city of Cartagena. The event is organized by staff members of the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena and the Universidad de Murcia under the Campus de Excelencia Internacional Mare Nostrum.
The International Workshop of Physical Agents is an annual international meeting that brings together professionals, educators, and researchers engaged in the field of Physical Agents. It intends to be a forum for information and experiences exchange in different areas regarding the concept of agent on physical environments, especially applied to the control and coordination of autonomous systems: robots, mobile robots, industrial processes or complex systems.
The continuity of scientific publications resulting from WAF workshops over more than two decades demonstrates the academic community’s sustained commitment to quality and international relevance in research on Physical Agents.
Accordingly, this volume presents not only the results of the scientific evaluation process carried out by the academic committee, but also a representative overview of the current state of research and teaching in the field of Physical Agents focused on Robotics and Automation developments.
