Resumen de Redes sociales: una ventana a las actividades docentes e investigadoras de la Facultad de Farmacia de la Universidad de Salamanca

  • In recent years, we have witnessed an increasing use of social media by students as their main channel for communicating and obtaining information. In this study, we plan to analyse the activity of our institutional accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X), quantifying the interactions and reach achieved. This will provide us with the necessary information to improve our future communication strategy, by knowing the impact of our publications in different media. Using different interaction metrics and considering the profile of the followers, the impact of the different publications in the Faculty’s institutional accounts has been quantified. The greatest international projection of our accounts is on Facebook, the Instagram account covers a wider age group, on LinkedIn the profile of the followers is related to the field of pharmaceutical activity and X stands out as having the largest number of followers. Therefore, the choice of the most appropriate platform depends on the type of information we want to communicate.
