  El índice de Precios al Consumidor (IPC) es un concepto omnipresente en nuestro día a día y fundamental en economía, pero su comprensión supone un reto para muchos de nuestros estudiantes. Este desafío radica en la complejidad inherente al calculo del IPC y su interpretación. Esto justifica la necesidad de la organización de un taller dedicado a desmitificar este indicador económico. Nuestra propuesta pretende proporcionar una perspectiva práctica y accesible del concepto del IPC. El objetivo de este taller no solo se centra en explicar la metodología del cálculo sino también en su interpretación y aplicación. Se hará hincapié en el uso de herramientas informáticas como excel o python que permitan trabajar con un gran volumen de datos, automatizar cálculos y facilitar el análisis. Esto ayudara a que nuestros estudiantes asimilen este índice y cómo afecta a la economía.

  The Consumer Price Index (CPI) is a crucial concept in economics that poses a challenge for many students to comprehend. The difficulty of this challenge stems from the complex nature of calculating and interpreting the CPI. This justifies the need for the organization of a workshop dedicated to demystifying this economic indicator. The goal of our proposal is to present a method that is both practical and easy to grasp for comprehending the CPI concept. As a result, the workshop will address both the calculation method and practical application and interpretation of it. Emphasis will be placed on the use of computer tools such as excel or python that allow us to work with a large volume of data, automate calculations and facilitate analysis. This will help our students assimilate this index and how it affects the economy.
