To check the accessibility of a software product, such as a web page, a desktop application, a mobile application or an electronic document, evaluators can use different types of resources that help them in the evaluation, as automatic evaluation tools, assistive technologies or disability simulators. This paper proposes criteria for the classification of tools used in software accessibilityevaluation, presents a list with more than four hundred tools available in the market, and shows a basic statistical analysis elaborating contingency tables and graphs for statistical variables as the category, type, scope and licence of the tools.
