GeoGebra offers many possibilities to change the way mathematics is taught at different educational levels, so it is necessary to change the working methodology in the classroom, especially when new resources are incorporated. A first change must be made in the type of activities that are proposed in the classroom and in the way they are developed in order to take advantage of the didactic possibilities that this software offers. Starting with the measurement of the area of a polygon, an open activity is proposed in which to analyse the different polygons that can fulfil the given condition, establishing new proposals that will ensure that the path to follow in the classroom is not a single one.
