On the stabilization of a type III thermoelastic laminated beam with structural memory

  • Resumen
    • In this work, we investigate the stabilization of a one-dimensional thermoelastic laminated beam with structural memory, knowing that the type of thermal diffusion used was introduced by Green and Naghdi. We prove a general decay result, for which exponential and polynomial decay results are special cases, depending on some assumptions on the relaxation functions and the wave speeds of the system. The result obtained is new and substantially improves earlier results in the literature.
