Resumen de Computers in education: the near future
This paper presents the basic ideas that learning systems are based on, according to the current ideas on how the teaching-learning process is carried out. The use of the Internet as a means to publish educational materials, together with simulation environments using learning by discovery and with collaborative tools, makes learning improve meaningfully. But in this process of integration of the new information technologies and communications into the classroom three factors we are also considering in this paper are vital: the role of teachers, the roles of the software and the hardware necessary to get the preestablished goals.
