  • This work presents a numerical modeling using Finite Element Method to analyze some problems related to threaded bars submitted to axial and bending loading. Axisymmetrical and tridimensional elements are used to computational simulation. In this paper are studied following features: stress state in transition zone of test specimen; stress concentration factor produced by standard notch radius; stress concentration factor in the root of fillet, based on metrical schedule M12 for threads; and the check in the plane strain state in the root.
