A heterogeneous population can be represented by a finite mixture of two component Gompertz lifetime model. Based on type I censored samples, prediction bounds for the sth future observable from a heterogeneous population are obtained from a Bayesian approach. A numerical example is given to illustrate the procedures and the accuracy of the prediction intervals is investigated via extensive Monte Carlo simulation
