Educación a distancia como herramienta didáctica de los docentes de matemáticas en carreras administrativas

    El objetivo fue analizar si el uso de algunas herramientas didácticas on-line promueve un mejor resultado en el aprendizaje de matemáticas I en áreas administrativas de la Universidad Simón Bolívar, Sede del Litoral durante el trimestre septiembre-diciembre 2018. La investigación se llevó a cabo mediante la estadística descriptiva e inferencial y se dividió a los alumnos en un grupo de control y uno experimental. Los resultados académicos del curso muestran que se favorecieron significativamente los estudiantes que participaron en las actividades, tanto en promedio de calificaciones obtenidas como en número de aprobados.

    The objective was to analyze whether the use of some online teaching tools promotes a better result in the learning of mathematics I in administrative areas of the Simón Bolívar University, Sede del Litoral during the September-December 2018 quarter. The research was carried out through descriptive and inferential statistics and students were divided into a control group and an experimental group. The academic results of the course show that students who participated in the activities were significantly favored, both in average grades obtained and in number of approved.
