Dimensiones importantes en la gestión de la informatización: integración e inteligencia

      En el momento actual, la informatización de la gestión pública y empresarial es una necesidad y Cuba lo ha asumido así. La gestión de este proceso avanza de lo simple a lo complejo, empezando por la habilitación de infraestructuras e informaciones, para luego ir a la gestión digital de procesos, el comercio electrónico y la automatización. El objetivo de este artículo es demostrar la conveniencia de mantener el foco en dos dimensiones importantes en la gestión de la informatización: la integración (de datos que hoy se gestionan de manera aislada) y el uso de la inteligencia computacional. Para ello, se estudian teóricamente dos casos vinculados al posible diseño de servicios (diseño de red de transporte y atención a afectaciones). En ellos se argumenta, partiendo de supuestos comprobables, que una informatización integrada e inteligente puede provocar mejoras en el servicio final que se puede ofertar.

      Nowadays, the informatization of public and business management is a necessity that Cuba has assumed. The informatization management follows a simple-to-complex approach, first focusing on infrastructure and information availability to then allowing digital business, electronic commerce and automation. The goal of this paper is to show the convenience of keeping attention on two important dimensions in the informatization: integration (of data that is currently managed in isolation) and the use of computational intelligence. Thus, we study two cases related to the possible design of services (transportation network design, and victim attention). The argument, based on probable assumptions, demonstrates how these services may be improved base on an integrated and intelligent informatization.
