  Método de selección de variables basado en un indicador multiatributo para la evaluación de eficiencia de unidades observadas en más de un período. La aplicación se ilustra con el caso de la evaluación de la eficiencia de hospitales de gestión pública provincial de la provincia de Córdoba, Argentina.

  A variable selection method based on a multi-attribute indicator for efficiency evaluation of units observed in more than one period is presented. The proposed search algorithm allows choosing a common set of variables for the T periods; controlling the number of selected variables, without the evaluator in each iteration analyzing the added value of the variables to be added; operating directly with the original variables, without reducing dimensionality by composing artificial variables and;

  deriving a collection of empirical models. The application is illustrated with the case of the efficiency evaluation of provincial public management hospitals in the province of C´ordoba, Argentina.
