Saturation of k-convex operators

Resumen
- In this paper we enrich a result of the authors on the local saturation of k-convex operators, so that it can be applied to more general situations. We deal with different shape properties of the operators and with different asymptotic expressions for them. Some applications are shown to the well known approximation operators of Bleimann-Butzer-Hahn, Kantorovich and to a generalized version of the Szász- Mirakyan operators.
