The well-known proof of the Pytahgorean theorem for a right triangle with legs b and c of differente length (also deignated b and c) uses two descompositions of a square whose length equals b+c. A wide range of figures can be obtained from these decompositions, in a process which cna be extended without limitations. Some of these puzzle-like figures have a remarkable beauty which makes them suitable for decoration purposes
