Resumen de Análise das dificuldades de alunos da Educação de Jovens e Adultos ao realizarem atividades utilizando o GeoGebra no smartphone

  This article is an excerpt from a completed research work and its main objective is to look into the difficulties presented by 2nd year students of Youth and Adult Education when using GeoGebra on the Smartphone for the study of Quadratic Functions. This is a qualitative study, which considered the field notebook and student logs as data source. It is analyzed the development of the Task, consisting of 2 exercises, which was solved with the help of GeoGebra installed on their smartphones. The analysis showed that, initially, the students faced difficulties in handling GeoGebra. However, this difficulty gradually diminished as they got acquainted with this application. It is concluded that, despite the initial difficulties in handling GeoGebra, shown by some research participants, there was a perception that the use of the application facilitated the resolution of Tasks, as this feature allows a better visualization in regards to graphs and allows for a better decision making.

  O presente artigo é um recorte de uma pesquisa concluída e tem por investigar as dificuldades apresentadas por alunos do 2º ano da Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA) ao utilizarem o GeoGebra no Smartphone para o estudo da Funções Quadráticas. Trata-se de um estudo qualitativo, que considerou o diário de campo e os registros dos alunos como fonte de dados. Analisa-se o desenvolvimento de Atividade, composta por 2 exercícios, que foi resolvida com o auxílio do GeoGebra instalado nos seus smartphones. A análise evidenciou que, inicialmente, os alunos apresentaram dificuldades em manusear o GeoGebra. Porém, tal dificuldade foi diminuindo à medida que se familiarizaram com esse aplicativo. Conclui-se que, apesar das dificuldades iniciais no manuseio do GeoGebra, apresentadas por alguns participantes da pesquisa, houve a percepção de que o uso do aplicativo facilitou a resolução das Atividades, dado que esse recurso possibilita uma melhor visualização em relação ao gráfico e contribui para a tomada de decisão.
