Resumen de Estrelles a la Sagrada Família de Gaudí: un context nou per a estudiar poliedres

  Traditionally it has been maintained that there are virtually no polyhedra to be found in Gaudi’s work. But a glance at certain points of the Nativity facade of the Sagrada Familia hints at the existence of different types of polyhedra. Specifically, stellated polyhedra that represent stars with different meanings. The variety of stellated polyhedra found provides a framework for further investigation into some of their characteristics, and a new context with which to study them in the classroom.

  Tradicionalment, s’ha sostingut que pràcticament no hi ha poliedres a l’obra de Gaudí.

  Però una ullada a determinats indrets de la façana del Naixement de la Sagrada Família permet entreveure l’existència de diversos tipus de poliedres. En concret, poliedres estrellats que representen estrelles amb significats diversos.

  La varietat de poliedres estrellats que trobem serveix de marc per aprofundir en algunes de les seves característiques, alhora que proporciona un nou context amb què treballar-los a l’aula.
