Resumen de 12 anys d’innovació en educació matemàtica: Junta de la FEEMCAT 2006

  Alguns dels “històrics” que van treballar per l’associacionisme del professorat de matemàtiques expliquen que la il·lusió de crear una revista de didàctica de les matemàtiques va originar la necessitat de crear una associació.

  D’altres estaven convençuts que ja en aquella època feia falta una associació de professors de matemàtiques que donés resposta a les inquietuds de molts professionals. Tant se val si va ser primer l’ou o la gallina. L’important és que l’esforç i el treball d’aquests que van començar i de molts altres que han continuat és reconegut i és una referència bàsica i representativa de la família matemàtica de Catalunya. Sigui aquest resum de la història de la FEEMCAT un reconeixement a la tasca de tots i totes els qui han fet i fan possible compartir, reflexionar i millorar la nostra professió al nostre país

  Some of the “veterans” who worked to organise mathematics teachers say that the need to create an association grew out of their enthusiasm for setting up a mathematics teaching journal. Others were already convinced then that an association for mathematics teachers was needed, to respond to the concerns of many of these professionals. It does not really matter which came first, the chicken or the egg. What matters is that the hard work of the founding members, and of the many others who have followed them, has been recognised and has become a representative meeting point for the mathematical family in Catalonia. This brief history of the FEEMCAT is intended as recognition of the work done by all those who have made it possible to share, reflect upon and improve our profession in this country, and continue to do so
