Con el objetivo de presentar un referente destacado de mujer ante la sociedad, en virtud de los enormes méritos académicos que consiguió y de las dificultades de todo tipo, tanto económicas como de género que tuvo que superar para obtenerlos, se muestra la biografía de la orensana Antonia Ferrín Moreiras, licenciada y doctora en Matemáticas (Astronomía) y también maestra nacional y licenciada en Química y en Farmacia en la primera década del siglo pasado.

With the aim of showing a remarkable reference of women to society, by virtue of the enormous academic merits that she achieved and the difficulties of all kinds, both economic and gender, that had to overcome to obtain them, the biography of Antonia Ferrín Moreiras is presented. This woman from Orense (Spain) was a graduate and Ph.D. in Mathematics (Astronomy) and also a graduate in Chemistry and Pharmacy in the first decade of the last century.
