• Symmetries with respect to points on a Riemannian manifold are well-known generalization of reflections with respect to points in Euclidean space. Besides- symmetries with respect to points one can also consider reflections with respect to curves and, more generally, reflections with respect to arbitrary submanifolds of a Riemannian manifold.

  The purpose of this paper is to give a brief survey of the theory of reflections with respect to integral curves of a given Killing vector field.
