• We give some new properties of ?? weight functions on ℝ? . These properties describe the essential differences between ?? and the classical ?? weight functions. Moreover, the bilinear ?? weights are introduced and used to characterize the boundedness of bilinear Hardy inequalities on the weighted Lebesgue spaces.
