    El proyecto Astroaccesible (http://astroaccesible.iaa.es) tiene como objetivo fundamental la divulgación de la astronomía y la astrofísica entre los discapacitados visuales, así como la sensibilización de la sociedad hacia este colectivo. Para ello se han impartido conferencias y talleres en distintos centros de la ONCE por medio de descripciones adecuadas, imágenes adaptadas y material táctil que ayuda a transmitir conceptos que tradicionalmente se muestran de manera visual. El proyecto pretende continuar sus actividades para proporcionar materiales, contenidos y estrategias a divulgadores y formadores de tal manera que se pueda hacer una enseñanza más inclusiva de la astronomía y a animar a hacer lo mismo en otras áreas de la ciencia.

    The project “Astronomía accesible” (http://astroaccesible.iaa.es) is mainly aimed at the difusion of astronomy and astrophysics among visually impaired people. At same time another importqnt objective is to increase the sensitivity of the society towards this colective. This is done by means of the organization of conferences and workshops in different centers of the Spanish Organization ONCE The contents are transmitted using adequate descriptions, adapted images, and touching materials that help to make understable concepts traditionally explained by means of the vision. This project is intented to continue its activities, supplying new materials, contents and strategies to the teaching and divulgation community, encouraging them to make more inclusive the astronomy and other branches of science.
