Resumen
It is a great privilege to have scientists of so high mathematical prestige as discussants. I want to express my gratitude to them for accepting the invitation of the Guest Editors of this special issue of Top. Without any doubt, the quality of their discussions has exceeded our original very high expectations. The readers will have a more complete view of the subject thanks to the comments, criticisms, and proposals given by the discussants. I am thankful to them for their extreme care in writing their discussions down, after a detailed and deep reading of my survey. I am very proud that such an outstanding group of mathematicians could be interested in our modest research contributions, and devoted their precious time to prepare the discussions. These contributions constitute their personal counterparts, provide complementary views of the topic, and give an extraordinary scientific added value to my own work. I am absolutely convinced that they succeeded to put the stability issue in a better perspective for young researchers.
