  • When looking at the relation of game theory with the “real world”, many game theorists are not fully convinced. Cicero’s words describe accurately the cause of this discomfort, since according to a widespread opinion the purpose of science is to develop practical applications. The survey of Fiestras-Janeiro, García Jurado and Mosquera includes an excellent collection of such practical applications of game theory.
