• We would like to thank Gilbert Laporte, José Fernando Oliveira, Frank Plastria, Juan José Salazar Gonzalez and Paolo Toth for their careful reading and valuable comments. It is interesting to observe that, in general, their comments covered distinct aspects of the survey. Some of their remarks (referring to a preliminary version of the survey) have been incorporated in the current version, leading to a more complete presentation of the considered research area. Other remarks are briefly commented here.
