Resumen
- Cancer is the second leading cause of death and it is blamed for 25% of deaths in the U.S. (American Cancer Society 2008). As mentioned by the authors, approximately 1.4 million people in the U.S. will be newly diagnosed with cancer this year. This year alone, about 565,650 Americans are expected to die of cancer, which is about 1,550 people a day.
