Resumen de ¿Se cumplirán los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible en el horizonte 2030?: Un análisis cuantitativo

  La Agenda 2030 para el Desarrollo Sostenible pretende mejorar las perspectivas de vida y futuro de todos, en todo el mundo. El Informe de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) del año 2017 introduce cambios realmente relevantes respecto del anterior, publicado en el año 2016. Los Paneles de los ODS para los países de la OCDE ponen de manifiesto que cada país rico se enfrenta a grandes desafíos para alcanzar muchos de los objetivos. Los mayores retos existen en Producción y Consumo Responsable (ODS 12), Acción del Clima (ODS 13), Vida Submarina (ODS 14), Vida de Ecosistemas Terrestres (ODS 15). Por tal motivo, el estudio que se realiza se concentrará sólo en los objetivos indicados, dado que son los que han sufrido más cambios en su composición, cálculo y definición. En relación al Informe 2016 se realizó un análisis multicriterio para evaluar la posición de cada uno de los países de la OCDE en su trayectoria hacia el año 2030. No obstante, el tedioso y complejo estudio realizado en 2016 no nos servirá de referencia para afrontar el análisis actual. Así pues, se realizará un nuevo análisis de decisión multicriterio y se complementará con un estudio econométrico, con el fin de establecer cuál es la situación actual de los países en aquellos criterios que están siendo críticos y están generando los llamados efectos “spillover”.

  The 2030 Agenda for sustainable development aims to improve the prospects of life and future of all around the world. The report of the objectives of sustainable development (ODS) of the year 2017 introduces significant changes with respect to the previous one, published in the year 2016. The panels of the ODS for the OECD countries have shown that all rich countries are facing major challenges to achieve many of the goals. The biggest challenges exist in production and responsible consumption (12 ODS), climate action (ODS 13), underwater life (ODS 14), terrestrial ecosystems life (ODS 15). For this reason, our work will be concentrated only in the stated objectives, since they have experimented more changes in their composition, calculation and definition. In relation to the report, 2016 was a Multicriteria analysis to assess the position of each of the countries of the OECD on its path toward the year 2030. However, the tedious and complex study will not work as reference to deal with the current analysis. Thus a Multicriteria decision analysis will be done and will be complemented by an econometric study, in order to establish what is the current situation of the countries in those criteria which are being critical and are generating the so-called “spillover effects".
