  • Resumen
    • The existence of Cavalieri positions between two triangles of equal areas was firstly studied by H. Eves and P. HaLmos, and their works were independently published in 1991. In the present article, the existence of Cavalieri positions is extended to the case of two triangles, T and T', of different areas, with a common vertex, 0, verifying the hypothesis condition below. Let a be the side opposite to O and let h be the height relative to a in the triangle T; let d be the side opposite to 0 and let k be the height relative to d in the triangle T'. Then, the following hypothesis condition is to be assumed:.... Moreover, analytical expressions that allow to determine the Cavalieri positions are given in case of equality of areas of both triangles.
