The author has studied and developed software for the dynamic geometry system (DGS) - computer algebra system (CAS) collaboration problem. The state of the art of this collaboration is discussed in the introduction. In 2006, an exciting new DGS, denoted "Geometry Expressions", was presented by the company Saltire Software. It has the usual capabilities of DGS plus a small algebraic engine (allowing to internally perform algebraic computations) and the possibility to export data to some CAS. But its key capability is yet another one: for the first time, as far as we know, the possibility to add constraints (computed internally or externally to the DGS) that change the geometric configuration after it has been drawn, is included. This new DGS is also reviewed in the article.
